Tears For Fears fans now have something to shout about.
The pop duo have reunited and will record their first album since 1989, Billboard reports.
Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith made it official on Saturday when they performed together for the first time in a decade at a charity event in Las Vegas.
The band recently inked a deal with Arista Records and will release the new effort early next year.
Orzabal and Smith first formed Tears For Fears based on their mutual interest in Arthur Janov's form of psychotherapy known as primal scream -- the same technique embraced by John Lennon at the time of his "Plastic Ono Band" album.
They landed a record deal in 1982 and issued their debut, "The Hurting", the following year. But it was their sophomore effort, "Songs From The Big Chair," that provided their biggest hits: "Shout" and "Everybody Wants To Rule The World."
The heavily Beatles-influenced "The Seeds Of Love" proved to be their swan song, although Orzabal carried on under the Tears For Fears name for several more albums, including 1993's "Elemental."
