A candidate for the U.S. senate has emerged who could blow the whole campaign to smithereens.
New Jersey independent candidate Pat DiNizio is best known in rock circles as guitarist with the cult band The Smithereens, and on Friday he launched his website, officially confirming he has tossed his hat into the election ring.
