In his way, 34-year-old Winnipegger Danny Schur is as fresh-faced and wholesome as the young Rooney. His talents are as diverse. In the best tradition of the Mickster, his drive motivates others.
And so it is that, by Schur's hand, some 70-plus people -- 17 cast members, 24 dancers, 30 extras, musicians, and techs -- will converge next Thursday at the Walker Theatre to put on a show.
