WHITE TRASH WITH MONEY
Trash is trash, cash or no cash
By -- Calgary Sun

Toby Keith
White Trash With Money
(Universal)

Too much of a good thing is not a good thing. In Toby Keith's case, too much success has not made him a better artist.

Instead, being on top seems to have made Keith lazy and unimaginative. On this 12-song disc, Keith offers cookie-cutter tunes of those that originally solidified his comeback, and seems to be singing to satisfy himself rather than his fans.

He arrogantly sings about how he was over his "baby" before she left. The rollin' in dough Keith also sings about how happiness won't buy you money, Can't Buy You Money.

And to wrap things up he's co-written a tune about Runnin' Block for a friend and being unimpressed with his blind date "I tried to drink her skinny ... Sometimes you've got to bow up and just take one for the team."

And later, when he's caught "half naked" with the same woman he croons "I can't believe you caught me with this big ol' jelly roll."
