Kunis happy to miss child stardom

Actress Mila Kunis is thankful her parents didn't push her into child stardom as she is convinced she would have fallen apart under the pressure of the spotlight.

The Black Swan beauty, who previously dated child star Macaulay Culkin, is sure she would have turned out a lot differently had she experienced fame at a young age, and she is grateful to still enjoy going largely unrecognized when she steps out in public.

She tells Britain's Heat magazine, "The good thing is, I was never a child star and I'm not a star now. If you're 10 years old and this thing (fame) happens to you and you haven't asked for it and you don't understand it, you tend to fall apart a little. For a child star, everything is through a fish bowl.

"I'm so lucky I didn't have to go through it. I was never pushed to do this. My parents always let me make the decisions; they never forced me into anything. And now, I mean, I'm not Brad Pitt. I can walk down the street and everything's cool."
